Little Fire Artist - Meet the Artist - Frances Whitford

Hello! My name is Frances, some of my friends call me Fran. I need to move and want to be moved. I’m an introverted scorpio who feels most connected with the world while dancing. I was born in Connecticut, raised in Los Angeles, and studied at the University of North Carolina School of Arts. In 2017, I joined the inaugural class of the Hubbard Street Professional Program (HS Pro) where I trained for 3 years under the direction of Alexandra Wells. I feel extremely lucky to work with the Margie Gillis Legacy Project,  Robyn Mineko Williams and Artists, and little fire. A few of my favorite things to do include making playlists, taking long walks, sleeping (dreaming), practicing Image Tech and Pilates, and biking to the lake.
